The new executive members for the 2009-2010 season were announced at the AGM on May 6. Normally, the executive positions are for a 2-year term. But since our club is only a year old, to maintain continuity on the executive some members only served for a 1-year term while others will stay on for the full 2-years. The new executive members are:
Secretary – Norma Kabaroff (replacing Peggy Dodson)
Social Director – Gayle Houston (replacing Gordon and Esther Oaks)
Tour Directors – Kathy Robinson and Arnie Wilson (replacing Gwen Williams and Stan Rust)
Public Relations – Dick Foose (replacing Inge Hess)
Vice -President – Mike Tansey (new position)
A vote of thanks goes to all the retiring executive members for the great work they have done in helping get our new club up and running so smoothly. And, of course, a big welcome is extended to our new executive members.
