The funds go to a number of clubs in Edmonton like ‘Boys and Girls Clubs’ and several others. I volunteered at the silent auction and banquet. Others volunteered at the golf event. We were given the banquet for free! We were also given a flower vase and flowers at the end.
The Auction was a blast with one of our “own”, Peter, helping out. Peter is an auctioneer/ skier who does auctions in Vegreville every Sunday. – 11:00 a.m. in case anyone is interested.
The live auction was ‘Great fun’!!
If anyone has the time or is interested in volunteering next year, I highly recommend it.
