    Lake Louise has now implemented a reservation system for lift tickets and season passes. Dec 22 has sold out, so check before you go for any given day.

    Update from the City of Edmonton:

    Below is an important update on matters related to the COVID-19 virus in Edmonton. The Government of Alberta has made some significant public health decisions that affect programming in our facilities.

    The government announced a two-week ban on group fitness programs, team sports, and performance-based creative classes. In response, the following changes to programming will be in effect between November 13 and November 27:

    What's Cancelled:

    • Aquatics
      • Public swim 
      • Lazy river
      • Aquafit 
    • Fitness Centres
      • Group bookings
      • Small group personal training
    • Court bookings (sports with a net)
      • No squash or racquetball
      • No basketball or soccer
    • Arts Programs
      • Dance and theatre classes
    • Booking/Rentals
      • No social bookings (as previous)
      • Booking capacity remains limited to 25% of regular capacity up to 50 people for non-sport bookings (ex. tutoring)
      • Sport groups (practice, training, competition)
    • The Orange Hub
      • Cancel Performance activities - dancing, singing, etc

    What’s permitted:

    • Fitness Centres
      • Individual access
      • Personal training
        • One on one in studios
    • Court bookings (sports with a net)
      • Tennis, pickleball, badminton (for cohorts of two)
    • Aquatics
      • Lane swimming
      • Hot tubs
      • Swimming lessons
      • Instructor and aquatic certification courses
    • Art Programs
      • Painting, photography, writing, knitting, clay, pottery, crochet, cake decorating, ukulele, guitar and hand drumming classes

    Please note that the focus at this time is communicating with our customers impacted by this decision. If you have been affected by these changes, you will also receive a cancellation confirmation email from Move.Learn.Play.

    This is the situation today. The City will continue to monitor the virus and its impacts to public health, in partnership with the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada.
